It is a single-bevel grind, ergo one side is completely flat, allowing precise use with, for example, carpenter's squares.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTraditionally Kiridashi are sold with no \"handle\", and the craftsman would either use it bare, wrap the tang with cord, or craft a wooden or bamboo handle, the latter of which we have provided for by pre-drilling holes into the blade. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA kydex sheath is included, although customizations to the tang will require a new sheath.
