The Eickhorn Aviator III (formerly named ASEK-II), NSN 1095-25-151-1584 (Norway) / 1095-12-360-8803 (Germany), was developed to meet the requirements of the american "Aircrew Survival Egress Knife" program.

It features an Eickhorn Professional blade capable a back woodsaw. The black Kalgard coating inhibits reflection and slows corrosion. The partially serrated edge aids the cutting of fibrous materials. The Glass-Reinforced Nylon handle is electrically insulated and a hardened glass breaker is threaded into the butt of the knife. The handle also features an eyelet for lanyard attachment.
We have bundled a MOLLE-compatbile cordura holster with GRN insert. Additional detachable leg belt loops and a diamond sharpening plate are also included with your purchase. As the Aviator III's design does not allow for an integrated belt cutter, we have provided a separate belt cutting tool. It weighs 30 grams and is 104mm long.
