We developed the Cyprus SF II based on the strict requirements of Cypriot SOF. For that development, the Advanced Combat Knife (ACK) was chosen as a base, with changes made as needed.
The Cyprus SF II features an Eickhorn Professional Bayonet Steel blade with a black Kalgard coating, back saw and partially serrated edge, as well as a glass breaker at the butt of the handle. The Glass-Reinforced Nylon handle is electrically insulated. The blade features a wire cutter hole, which in combination with the wire cutter plate on the sheath can be used to cut through electrified barbed or razor wire.
A polymer sheath with a M1910 U-Shaped hook for American ILCE, MLCE or ALICE systems is included.
