Originally named only KM 2000, this is the Bundeswehr's official combat knife. NSN 1095-12-355-6742. 

The current KM 2000 is a later development, and this original variant received the "BW" suffix.

Tanto Blade made from stainless Eickhorn Professional Steel, black Kalgard coating and optional partially serrated edge. Glass-Reinforced Nylon Handle. Black GRN sheath compatible with all US MOLLE and Bundeswehr IDZ systems, featuring a diamond sharpening plate.
