The rising demand for a compact, stable and robust field knife prompted us to, in close cooperation with members of operationally active troop units, develop the Eickhorn Ranger. The Users’ requirement catalogue envisaged use as a Tool, for example for prying doors, removing insulation from Wire, cutting belts and ropes, and breaking glass in operational missions.

The 5mm thick, 11.5mm long tanto-blade from Eickhorn Professional Plus stainless steel with partial serration copes with these diverse requirements in any situation. The screwed, 3mm thick G10 handles with “”Rough-Grip”” surface offer a secure grip even with wet hands. The carrying system is a high-quality multi-functional Kydex sheath with Multilock. Optionally we also offer a smooth blade without serrations.
